Fonction

As a Java programmer you will join a team of software engineers developing a Mobility Platform, a multi-tiered, fully scalable Cloud based solution for mobile devices operation into the supply chain sector. You will participate to the evolution of the solution, from the design phase to the delivery & from the technical foundations to the user interface.Based on your specific domain of expertise and motivation you will be able to contribute to various technical domain: Cloud Infrastructure, security, database, web services, data processing, User Interface…

Beyond your technical skills and your passion for producing top-notch code, part of your main assets is your curiosity, your pragmatic and agile approach to problem solving and your eagerness to learn and improve yourself.

Qualification

• Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Java development (8 and beyond)

Technical skills

• You have a strong background in Java (8 and beyond)
• You have a strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
• You have experience in developing Web applications in a distributed architecture
• You have experience with an ORM framework
• Modeling is familiar to you

Soft skills

• You have Agile knowledge (e.g. Scrum)
• You are flexible, autodidact and able to cope with fast changing technologies
• You are able to work under tight deadlines
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are organized and able to work independently
• You take the accountability for delivering results
• You have strong communication skills
• You are a team player
• You are quality oriented, you work in a continuous improvements mindset
• You are fluent (spoken and written) in English and French and/or Dutch
• It would be a plus if you had:
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience with following : Jenkins, GIT, Maven
• Good knowledge of Cloud environments and of MicroServices architecture
