We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical leads to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

You will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration & delivery, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system. You will also help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructures. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks.

Responsibilities

• Implement the CI & CD pipeline
• Implement and maintain monitoring stacks of dev & test & demo environments
• Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new cloud technologies
• Installation and configuration of Linux OS/AWS/GCP, Hadoop clusters and the NGDATA CDP product “Lily”

skills

• Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
• Strong Linux system administration background.
• Ability to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP
• Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Very deep knowledge of scripting (bash, Python, …)
• Knowledge of Hadoop administration is considered a plus
• Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies
• Be extremely knowledgeable of industry standards and trends
