Internship Belgium Global Risk Management (GRM) - Data Analyst

Responsibilities We're an agile risk management team solving challenging problems in the beer industry.
We are data driven detectives ensuring the process we review is working at its best.
We partner with the operational owners to implement improvements.
We already have developed world-class data analytics capabilities and we're now looking to expand our team to on-board additional talents. As a result, we will need help with designing and developing data analysis to:
  • Build a strong sustainable data model based on business processes under review,
  • Determine the opportunities leveraging the data model built,
  • Optimize processes under review through root-cause finding,
  • Provide and develop KPIs to drive process monitoring and improvement growth.


Qualifications

Requirements You have experience with at least two of the following:
  • Using query language (SQL and variations)
  • Data Mining (web crawling, open data, parsing)
  • Scripting and programming (Python, R, Ruby)
  • Data visualization (Power BI)
And on top you must be:
  • Perfectly fluent in English, great communicator
  • Very good in Microsoft Excel
Bonus Points
  • Experience creating robust and elegant dashboards to present data
  • Machine Learning, ideally with some knowledge about Deep Learning
  • A result-oriented and inquisitive mindset ready to deep dive in unfamiliar processes
  • A good dose of ambition, as well as a great sense of humour
  • Business and/or finance experience
Location We are based in Leuven, Belgium (15 min train ride from Brussels).
