Country Service manager for Belgium, responsible for Customer satifaction in the country, achieving Service business revenues and margin objectives and team working with sales manager to increase installed base or renew already installed Varian products.

Reports to: As a Service manager you report to the Field Service Director or the Country Manager.

Position Summary: Responsible for customer contract and service team Management in Belgium. You manage a team of 13 Field Service Engineer and 3 FOA.

Specific Responsibilities

• Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance and engineering change upgrades in order to provide the highest level of service, maximize customer satisfaction and achieve financial objectives.
• Negotiation, sales and management of Service Contract and financial turn over forecast.
• Provides direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to customers.
• Participates in the resolution of customer concerns and defining and developing a customer contact strategy.
• Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.
• Schedules personnel responding to critical situations.
• Analyzes operational processes, escalation procedures and performs training needs assessments for identifying opportunities for service delivery improvements and value add to the customer.
• Manages a profit and loss center.

Requirements:

• Strong management experience and great understanding of after-sales service related to medical industry
• Great sales skills, understanding and application of contract structuring, composition and contract negotiation (Including how to do quotations, costing for jobs, monitoring costs and following up on execution)
• You are organized, understand how to prioritise your work and you are a decision maker
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
• Engineering Academic background and medical industry experience
• Fluency in French, English and Dutch written and verbal
• Office based in Diegem, Belgium
• Travel: approx. 40% to 50% in Belgium
