THE OPPORTUNITY

We are actively seeking a highly personable and technically astute Senior Administrator for EBA Support. The ideal person for this role will have experience providing EBA management support within NATO, the MoD, civil service, the wider armed forces or a defence organisation. You will be responsible for various tasks related to technical support. This work is located in Mons, Belgium and will suit those either already living there or willing to work within that location unencumbered. Sound like a great fit?

THE ROLE

Your daily role responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for day-to-day functional management and user support of centralized ERP system, and for development of processes, policies and procedures relating to functional use of EBA Applications.
  • Monitor system policies and procedures and reports deviation from them to the Branch Chief
  • Act as lead for coordinating support activities across business areas for issues, problems and enhancement needed for EBA toolset to ensure end to end processes run properly
  • Act as a central point of contact for support to all users of EBA to ensure their business operations are supported by the system
  • As team manager, per form day-to-day management of resources allocated to EBA BS by each business area and provide feedback and input about performance
  • Contribute to over all business processes improvement initiatives across all of the NCI Agency business areas
  • Plan, coordinate and contribute to the production of detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business processes and other documentation related to processes used in EBA
  • Liaise with second line support (IT) to document functional requirements/errors in EBA
  • Represent EBA business community in Applications’ User Groups and EBA Change Advisory Board
  • Build strong relationships with other strategy and policy staff as well as System Administrators inside and outside the NCI Agency
  • Participate in ensuring all NCI Ag ency regulations and procedures are continuously updated to incorporate the best commercial or Government practice
  • Perform role of BI Super User or Power User, as appropriate, by ensuring relevant support is available to business user s to design and build ad-hoc reports
  • Coordinate design and implementation o f functional set-up and maintenance of audit trails, Control segregation of duties within EBA responsibilities, ensuring maintenance of internal controls.
  • Operates and maintain security framework and procedures within EBA
  • When assigned, represent line management at internal NCI Agency, as well as external, meetings
  • As assigned, draft correspondence on behalf of line management
  • As assigned, carry out analysis, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare related re ports particularly with respect to EBA management tools
  • Complete taskers as signed through Finance Directorate tasker management system
  • Support tasks with business SME (matrix management structure) assigned to the EBA BSO
  • Organize first line support for EBA users related to issue and problem management
  • Ensure key functional expertise support i s available for the EBA users and related partners
  • Ensure effective workflow administration and job scheduling monitoring across all EBA modules
  • Ensure support audit reviews as needed
  • Plan and coordinate training for EBA wit h business areas and Service Line (Education and Training). Supervise training material development, maintenance and delivery to EBA community
  • Manage change process for introduction and integration of new functionalities in EBA to be submitted and approved by the CAB.
  • Maintain and control, as appropriate, quality of Master Data across business area in EBA
  • Plan and coordinate Use r Acceptance testing (UAT) activities upon request (Database upgrades, rollup patches…) with the Service Line (SSBA), business areas and other entities as ne eded;
  • Create and maintain EBA briefing material and deliver to the NCI Agency community as needed
  • Deputize for higher grade staff, if required; Performs other duties as may be required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Passionate about this opportunity? Here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:
  • You possess a degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
  • related experience in implementing and/or supporting IT services related to ERP-based accounting
  • Current staff management experience
  • Current experience and demonstrable skills in analysis, design, testing, implementation and support of ERP systems, preferably based on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version R12 or later
  • Very good functional knowledge of the financial modules of Oracle EBS (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting)
  • Good functional knowledge of a minimum of one additional Oracle EBS module related to Purchasing, Human Resources, Logistics (Inventory, Order Management) and their integration with each other
  • Knowledge of incident and problem management processes and experience in this area
  • Thorough understanding of change management process related to change to IT systems enabling functionality across multiple business areas
  • Solid understanding of the Finance business structures, financial data and reporting
  • Good understanding of multi-functional aspects of training, master-data management
  • Proven track record in documenting business processes and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret Security Clearance
