- Vulnerability Assessment:
- The team is responsible for the identification and reporting of the vulnerabilities in the IT systems.
- Regular scans are performed to detect the currently known vulnerabilities in the IT world.
- The team is responsible for incident handling due to the Vulnerability Management process or scan, management of the applications and scan topics, distribution of vulnerability reports/ dashboards and vulnerability consultancy aimed at supporting solving vulnerabilities by the system/application owner.
- Vulnerability watch and Threat intelligence. Goal is to look beyond the wall and alert for potential threats.
- DLP (Data Leak Prevention) and WiFi scanning
- PENtesting:
- The team provides PENtesting services.
- The team organizes/coordinates pentests also done by external company.
- The PENtest results are analyzed and if necessary problems/incidents are created. Objectives of penetration tests are:
- Determine feasibility of a particular set of attack vectors
- Identify high-risk vulnerabilities from a combination of lower-risk vulnerabilities exploited in a particular sequence
- Identify vulnerabilities that may be difficult or impossible to detect with automated network or application vulnerability scanning software
- Assess the magnitude of potential business and operational impacts of successful attacks
- Test the ability of network defenders to detect and respond to attacks
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer / Security Analyst.
Appreciated knowledge- General requirements:
- Independent worker & and good thinking level.
- At least 3 year experience in IT Security Domain
- ITIL-knowledge (preferable ITIL foundation certificate);
- Security knowledge (preferably finished CISSP certified or CEH)
- Fluent in English (talking and writing); Preferably also in French or German or Dutch but this is not mandatory.
- Communication skills;
- Advanced Linux system knowledge; incl. basic commands
- Network knowledge
