Our collateral management service helps our clients source and mobilise their securities inventory rapidly, efficiently and optimally to meet multiple collateral obligations. The industry is moving into unchartered territory, and Euroclear as a long-established leader and innovator in collateral management, can add value by easing the collateral management burdens. Our team is working in different locations: Poland, Belgium and Hong Kong.

Once shares and bonds are traded, the securities and cash need to be exchanged. That’s where Euroclear Bank comes in to ‘settle’ the trades.

Every day, Euroclear processes around 200.000 transactions. At the very heart of our organisation, the Operations Division is responsible for delivering premier settlement and related services to our clients. Joining our Operations Department will give you a unique grounding in how the global financial system works.

Role

Your part of the deal:

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support clients in the translation of their collateral requirements in our contractual documentation (new or amendments)
• Implement Collateral profiles and accounts in the Collateral Management platform according to the clients contracts
• Manage timely and accurately control queries, transactions processing (instructions input) and reporting generation
• Follow up and investigate on custody or Corporate Action events processed on Collateral positions, including cash and securities realignment
• Provide assistance to Collateral Account Managers for queries related to operational processes
• Identify ways to improve our risk resilience as well as efficiency and productivity

Qualifications

• You have general knowledge of financial markets and securities and you are eager to broaden your expertise in this field
• You have very good written and spoken English
• You are flexible in terms of working hours with shifts moving from 8:00 till 20:30
