About Our Client
For one of my clients, a Trading company, I am looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst. The Brussels office is the headquarters of 8 branches in EMEA.
Job Description
Data collection:
- Preparation of standard monthly/bi-annual/annual or spot basis reports especially in relation to financial figures and performance of the BUSINESS UNIT in Europe Region
- Remind related branches to submit their reports on time for the reporting term concerned
- Collect the reports at the end of reporting terms from Accounting and Finance Department
- Perform initial analysis and consolidation of the reports
- Report any abnormalities to related responsible
Reporting :
Concerned reports in reporting tasks are:
- Monthly/quarterly/mid-term/annual financial Profit and Loss (PL) summary reports
- Monthly inventory aging and account receivables aging reports
- Monthly/annual presentation documents for top management following the standard formats
- Monthly/quarterly/mid-term/annual analysis requested by Head of Business Unit
- Based on the collected data and reports from branches in Europe Region and in line with official data from Accounting and Finance, prepare standard reports in excel or in power point following the standard formats.
- Checking the contents and results of reports with Head of Business Unit for confirmation and finalizing the reports correctly.
- Submitting reports to concerned departments in line with the deadlines announced
- Preparation of any supportive/summary feedback reports to Head of Business Unit when necessary
Supporting budget making process :
- Confirmation of budget file formats with Head of Business Unit
- Distribution of budget formats to all related branches in Europe Region to collect data from branches
- Make sure collection of all budget data before the defined deadlines
- Consolidation of budget data and preparation of consolidated Europe Region budget file format
- Checking consolidated budget file format with Head of Business Unit
- Updating budget file format in line with any revisions done
- Sharing final budget file format with Accounting and Finance Department and with related branches/departments
- Keeping budget file format available for Head of Business Unit whenever necessary
Events arrangement/organization :
- Based on requirements from Head of Business Unit , organize events like meetings, conferences
- Checking availability of attendees for the event and availability of Head of Business Unit
- Fixing event date, duration, place and agenda with Head of Business Unit
- Invitation of all attendees for the event and supporting logistics for the attendees when necessary such as hotel booking, transportation…etc.
- Booking event place or meeting rooms, TV/Audio facilities for the events on time
- Supporting Head of Business Unit 's preparation and presentation for the event
- Joining the events and taking key notes during the events.
- Reporting result to Head of Business Unit and all attendees/concerned members in the BUSINESS UNIT organization
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree
- Similar working experience
- Fluent in English
- MS Office & Excel, SAP knowledge is an asset
- Positive attitude and keep it even under stress
- Good at time management
- Quick learning and eager to learn
- Team player and you adapt easily to different situations/persons
